God's Arms

There is nothing more comforting
Than to feel God's arms enfold you
Nothing more peaceful and secure
Than to know that God holds you

On this earth, God's arms are everywhere
They're the arms of one who comforts
And the arms of one who cares
When the pain gets too much to bear

God's arms are the arms of a child
Reaching out in trust and love
God's arms are the arms of someone
Reaching up to Heaven above

Each one of us can be God's arms
If we learn to be more like His Son
If we learn to help one another
And for each other to always be there.
